It wasn't until our first child turned 1 that we realized "our marriage" needed that gentle care we've been giving towards everything and everyone else in our lives. We've been on the go-go-go for eight years ourselves - grateful for every moment of course - but also complacent. Weekly date nights go along way - and even if just for a few hours a week, bring me back those butterflies I always felt for the man I love. It's the one piece of advice I'd give first to any new Mom - that, and to not sweat the diaper bag packing - thing. Well said TurnitupMom!
